For more details, please view We are looking for a Research Fellow to develop microbial platforms for the sustainable recovery of metals from environmental sources. The role will focus on designing and constructing abiotic-biotic hybrid systems for sustainability applications, including environmental biosensing and green energy generation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate the responses of model microbial platforms to different metal species.
• Design and construct abiotic-biotic hybrid systems and study the interactions between nanoparticles and microorganisms.
• Perform materials and microbial characterization.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance and functionality of the hybrid systems.
• Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and intellectual property (IP) disclosures.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory safety, documentation, and quality control.
