About the Role
Finance Head Overview We are partnering with a growing regional business to appoint a Finance Head who will lead financial operations, governance, and transformation initiatives across multiple markets.
This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong expertise in financial control, treasury, compliance, systems implementation, and process improvement within a complex, fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical finance capabilities with commercial acumen and proven experience driving operational excellence across regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Governance Lead all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Oversee management reporting, financial statements, balance sheet integrity, and variance analysis.
- Maintain oversight of core finance functions including GL, AP, AR, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Ensure strong financial governance, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Manage liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and daily treasury operations.
- Oversee banking relationships, account structures, authorized signatories, and financing arrangements.
- Drive working capital optimization and monitor receivables, payment cycles, and cash utilization.
- Regulatory, Tax & Audit Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax obligations, and local regulatory requirements across Hong Kong, Singapore, and China.
- Lead year-end audits and act as the key liaison with external auditors, advisors, and relevant authorities.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and finance policies across the region.
- Systems & Transformation Lead finance system enhancement projects, including ERP implementation, optimization, or upgrades (e.g.
- SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
- Partner with cross-functional teams on process redesign, automation, data migration, testing, and post-implementation improvements.
- Drive standardization, scalability, and reporting efficiency across finance operations.
- Business Partnership Collaborate closely with leadership, operations, compliance, and technology teams to support business growth.
- Provide commercial insights, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external service providers and key business partners where relevant.
- Requirement Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within multinational or regulated environments.
- Strong background in financial reporting, treasury, compliance, audit, and internal controls.
- Hands-on experience leading finance transformation or ERP projects.
- Strong leadership presence, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive change in a regional setting.
