Consultant: Instructional Design and Project Management

About the Role

We are seeking a Consultant: Instructional Design and Project Management to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the science and art of learning, meticulous attention to detail, a strong willingness to learn, and an exceptional ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

You will be instrumental in planning and tracking the progress of content development projects, working closely with both external vendor teams and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of engaging learning experiences.

Job Details

Experience: Proven experience as an Instructional Designer with demonstrated expertise in content development, e-learning tools, and project coordination. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with strong English language proficiency, including excellent grammar and proofreading skills. Project Acumen: Basic understanding of project scoping and execution, with the ability to use MS Excel for tracking project timelines, maintaining simple project budgets, and reporting. Behavioral Attributes: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks. Exceptional attention to detail , ensuring high-quality content development. Strong willingness to learn and continuously improve skills. Excellent teamwork skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Responsibilities

• Instructional Design & Content Development: Understand and effectively implement established instructional design (ID) models.
• Visualize and create compelling storyboards/scripts and assessments.
• Review stage-wise artifacts from the content development process lifecycle, including documents, content outlines, storyboarding, audio files, and video files.
• Conduct output/build reviews as a crucial part of the e-content development cycle.
• Project Coordination & Management: Assist in project execution and coordination, ensuring content is developed, reviewed, and delivered within established project timelines.
• Maintain and update project plans, and provide timely reports on risks related to cost, quality, and timelines for appropriate mitigation.
• Ensure all content updates and improvements are meticulously tracked, incorporated, and aligned across all platforms.
• Verify adherence to specifications by meticulously checking the final deliverables of each project.
• Tool Proficiency & Collaboration: Demonstrate proficient working knowledge of relevant software tools, including but not limited to MS Office, Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond , and at least two other e-learning authoring tools.
• Familiarity with Generative AI (Gen AI) based tools for content development is a plus.
• Coordinate effectively with digital media content creators for the development of graphics and animations.
• Work collaboratively with the LMS and QA teams to ensure defect-free upload, testing, and rollout of content as per plan.
