Software QA Tester

About the Role

About the internship: We are looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Tester Intern to help ensure the quality of our web applications, mobile applications, and SaaS products. In this role, you will test newly developed features, identify and document bugs, verify fixes, and contribute to delivering reliable, user-friendly software.

This internship offers hands-on experience working with developers, designers, and product teams while learning industry-standard quality assurance practices. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Test web applications, mobile applications, and SaaS products for functionality, usability, and performance. 2.

Validate newly developed features before deployment to ensure they meet quality standards. 3. Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and screen recordings. 4. Perform functional, usability, UI, regression, and cross-browser testing. 5. Verify bug fixes and ensure reported issues have been resolved successfully. 6.

Test applications across multiple browsers, devices, operating systems, and screen sizes. 7. Identify UI inconsistencies, performance issues, and user experience improvements. 8. Maintain accurate bug reports, test cases, and QA documentation. 9. Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to improve product quality and user experience.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Chrome DevTools is a plus.
• 7.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or software development fundamentals is an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• 9.
• Eagerness to learn new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Have a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
• Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Can document issues clearly and communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Are available for the internship duration and can join within a short notice period.
