Area Manager EPCG

Responsibilities

Manage and grow the EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) business in the assigned area Identify and onboard eligible exporters/manufacturers under the EPCG scheme Educate clients about EPCG benefits, eligibility, and compliance requirements Provide banking and financial solutions linked to capital goods import/export needs Ensure proper documentation, timely processing, and regulatory compliance Work closely with internal teams (credit, legal, operations) to deliver solutions Track performance, report on area progress, and meet business targets Stay updated on DGFT guidelines, EXIM policies, and EPCG scheme changes

Requirements

4–8 years of experience in trade finance, EXIM banking, or EPCG-related roles Strong understanding of EPCG scheme, foreign trade policy, and export financing Good knowledge of banking products related to export/import business Excellent communication, client handling, and relationship management skills Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred) Willingness to travel across the assigned area Soft Skills: Detail-oriented and process-driven Proactive and target-focused Strong problem-solving ability Capable of managing clients and internal stakeholders ##
