Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
- Partner with business leaders to develop business plans, budgets, and financial strategies that support organizational growth.
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes while ensuring forecast accuracy.
- Prepare and present financial reports, performance analysis, and management insights to support decision-making.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key financial metrics and ensure accountability for business performance.
- Review commercial proposals, contracts, and financial terms to ensure compliance with internal policies and business objectives.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, month-end closing, and cash flow management.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage tax compliance, statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Develop and enhance financial processes, internal controls, and governance frameworks to support business scalability.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Lead risk management initiatives and drive continuous process improvements across the finance function.
- Manage, coach, and develop the finance team while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Support succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic business initiatives.
- Perform other finance and business-related duties as assigned.

- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
- At least 5 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting leadership roles, preferably from technology, software, telecommunications, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business requirements.
