Job Description

About the Role

New Business Development Identify, target, and acquire new customers in assigned territory (leather, footwear, rubber, and allied industries). Prospect via leads, referrals, cold calls, trade shows, factory visits. Existing Customer Management Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.

Understand their needs, offer suitable machines, cutting dies, factory setup solutions. Product & Technical Knowledge Understand technical specifications of machinery, cutting dies, automation, etc. to explain benefits to clients. Demo where required, support clients technical queries.

Sales Target Achievement Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual sales targets for assigned territory. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and updates to management. Territory Management & Planning Plan daily / weekly client visits, map out sales routes for efficiency. Monitor competitor activity and pricing in territory.

Client Support & After Sales Feedback Liaise with internal teams (engineering, production, service) to ensure timely delivery / installation / after sales support. Collect feedback, ensure client satisfaction, manage complaints or issues. Represent company in trade shows, local exhibitions, industry meetings.

Assist marketing with product promotions, displays. Reporting & Documentation Maintain records of visits, calls, orders, quotations. Submit periodic sales reports, expense reports, forecasts. ##

Requirements
