West EPC Firm 5 Days work week Prior Exposure to Biopharma projects is advantageous As a global Organization in design, engineering, procurement, and construction in controlled and regulated environments, our client offers a complete range of services from consulting to the managing of turnkey solutions - delivered to the highest quality and safety standards About the role Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, you will take responsibility within our project team for the handling of all process challenges from the design phase till the completion and handover to the client.

  • Lead process systems from conceptual design through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Develop and progress key design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, datasheets, and functional descriptions in line with project requirements.
  • Perform engineering calculations such as equipment sizing, pressure loss, and heat & mass balances, including capacity assessments based on client URS.
  • Participate in and support design reviews with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Prepare tender specifications, evaluate bids, and support subcontractor selection and appointment processes.
  • Review and approve technical submittals, subcontractor designs, and ensure all interfaces and system integrations meet specifications.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, including defining acceptance criteria, managing site testing, and closing punch lists.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and subcontractor performance, including review of variations, claims, and installation standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including test packs, as-built drawings, and handover manuals.
  • Act as Work Package Owner (WPO), managing assigned packages end-to-end while promoting safe work practices, professionalism, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Job Requirement Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical or Bio-Engineering, with a specialization in biotech process and/or Clean Utilities engineering 2-4 years of work experience as a process engineer in the mission critical facility industry First experience in construction and commissioning / qualification is an asset Knowledge in line sizing simulation tools, engineering codes or construction experience is considered an asset You are committed, flexible, creative, assertive, communicative, motivated and well-organized You like working in a team but you can also function in an independent and safe way, you will be able to solve technical issues OTHER INFORMATION: Location : West Working days : 5 days work week Salary : $6,000 and Bons The Company strives to achieve employee satisfaction and provides conducive working environment to all staff.
