We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Finance and Accounting to join our Internal Finance team based in India. -based) and global finance leadership. What You will do: Financial Close & Accounting Coordinate the monthly close process for UK and EU entities, including journal entries and analytical review.

Analyze financial results and explain variances to budget, forecast, and prior periods. Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules ensuring reconciliations are accurate and documented. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and support root cause analysis.

Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare financial management reports including KPI reporting and variance analysis. Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide financial insights on UK and EU entity performance. Statutory Reporting & Compliance Support preparation of UK statutory accounts and EU local statutory reporting.

Assist with corporate tax, VAT reporting, and statutory filings with external advisors. Ensure compliance with Companies House filings and other regulatory reporting. Maintain documentation supporting statutory reporting and accounting positions.

Accounting Operations & Process Improvement Improve order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report processes. Identify automation and reporting enhancement opportunities. Partner with the Managing Director, Accounting Operations to improve finance processes. Collaborate with IT and Finance leadership to optimize NetSuite.

Treasury, Payroll & Operational Finance Support treasury management including cash positioning and intercompany settlements. Maintain recording and documentation of transfer pricing and intercompany transactions. Record and reconcile transfer pricing related intercompany charges. Support UK and EU payroll processes with external providers.

Assist with accounts payable, revenue processes, and accounts receivable monitoring. Ideally, you have: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 4–7+ years of accounting experience supporting UK or European entities. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS and experience supporting UK statutory accounts.

Hands on experience with VAT reporting, Companies House filings, or UK statutory accounts.

Experience: in multi entity, multi currency accounting environments.

Experience: with NetSuite or similar ERP. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. ACCA qualified or actively pursuing ACCA strongly preferred.
