As part of the Data and Analytics Engineering team you will build and productionize LLM-powered agents and AI-enabled applications on our Azure + Databricks platform. As a Senior Associate you will leverage your knowledge in software engineering and machine learning to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs. This position provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver impactful AI workflows that drive business success.

Responsibilities

• Build and productionize AI-enabled applications on the Azure + Databricks platform
• Leverage software engineering and machine learning knowledge to create innovative solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver impactful workflows
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered agents to enhance user experiences
• Confirm the quality and reliability of AI applications through rigorous testing
• Analyze data to inform the development of AI solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team
• Stay abreast of advancements in AI and machine learning technologies

What You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI
• Strong Python and SQL
• Experience with Azure and Databricks in production
• Solid engineering fundamentals: Git, CI/CD basics, logging/monitoring, secure secrets/access patterns
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with business stakeholders

What Sets You Apart

• Experience with Azure OpenAI and enterprise governance/security patterns
• Familiarity with embeddings, vector search, and retrieval tuning
• Experience deploying services with containers/Kubernetes
• Exposure to MLflow/model registries and evaluation frameworks for LLMs
• Light front-end/dashboard experience with React/TypeScript or Power BI
