Job Role : Avionics System Test Engineer - FMS
Work Experience : 4 to 8 Years
Location : Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute system-level testing for FMS software and embedded avionics systems.
• Define system quality targets and monitor QA activities in collaboration with project leads.
• Conduct system milestone audits (CheckPoints) and track deviations and risks.
• Identify quality non-conformities and ensure resolution via Project Improvement Plans .
• Assess and report conformity with DO-178B/C standards and system development processes.
• Participate in Design Reviews (DR) / Technical Reviews (TR) .
• Support internal and external audits , including OEM and supplier assessments.
• Ensure QRQC compliance and support problem-solving using PDCA, FTA, and LLC methods .
• Capture lessons learned and best practices to enhance process improvement.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• 4–8 years of experience in avionics system testing, FMS software, or embedded systems QA .
• Hands-on experience with System Testing / Verification & Validation (V&V) .
• Knowledge of DO-178B/C standards .
• Experience in Flight Management Systems (FMS) and embedded avionics projects.
• Expertise in Black Box Testing / White Box Testing for system and peripheral devices.
• Familiarity with milestone audits, supplier management, and quality metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
