Experience: Previous experience in content writing, journalism, or a related field is required. Preferred Background: A background in political writing, journalism, or public policy analysis is highly preferred. Political Knowledge: Deep and up-to-date knowledge of the political landscape and current events in Maharashtra is essential. Core Competencies: • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in translation. • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality content in real-time. • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex political narratives.

Responsibilities

• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Hindi, and English is mandatory, with the ability to seamlessly switch between languages.
• Accurate Translation & Commentary: • Comprehend and analyse content in Marathi or Hindi. • Accurately translate the core subject matter into precise and nuanced English or Hindi or both • Include commentary and annotations on the translated material, where required.
• Content Creation & Summarisation: • Write short video scripts and short-form content based in English or Hindi • Efficiently summarise content from Marathi or Hindi in concise, impactful language (e.g., for reports or briefs).
• Real-Time & Digital Communication: • Provide real-time synopsis on live events (e.g., political broadcasts, press conferences) in English or Hindi • Draft engaging feedback and social media responses, including Tweets, in English or Hindi Political Acumen: • Displays a strong understanding of current affairs, particularly pertaining to Maharashtra state politics.
