About the Role
Role: Conceptualize and developing of EV powertrain layout and designing components for 2 and 3 Wheelers and their integration. Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure seamless integration and timely project delivery. Perform tolerance stack-up analysis for critical drivetrain and electric motor components.
Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation processes for EV Powertrain components. Conduct benchmarking and implement performance optimization strategies. Lead the documentation of design specifications, Design releases and testing results for internal reference and potential patent applications.
Prerequisites: Good knowledge of Automotive EV powertrain components and emerging technologies. Proficiency in 3D modelling (Unigraphics), PLM tools and 2D Drafting is must. Good experience of designing Casings, Gears, Shafts and their process knowledge.
Job Details
Experience: of designing of fixtures for powertrain components testing.
Experience: in designing EV powertrain components as motor, transmission and MCU casings and integration. Powertrain integration and resolution of DFA related issue and good understanding of DFM, DFA, DFS. Good knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis. Knowledge of simulation tools like Hypermesh and ANSYS will be an added advantage. Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Technical documentation writeup as Testing Standards, Validation reports. Know-how of product development processes as DoE, VA/VE. Proven problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset for innovative solutions. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. ##
