About the Role
We are looking for Operations Associates to join the Amazon Fresh & Amazon Now team, supporting the rapid expansion of Amazon's grocery and quick commerce services across India. You will play a critical role in executing store launches across multiple cities by managing service area planning, tech onboarding, testing, and operational migrations.
This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment where you will directly contribute to the growth of Amazon's grocery and quick commerce business in India. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely store launches at scale.
Key job responsibilities - Plan and execute end-to-end store launch operations across multiple cities, ensuring timely go-lives aligned with business expansion targets. - Define and manage store service areas by analyzing geographic, demographic, and demand data to maximize coverage and delivery efficiency. - Coordinate onboarding for new store locations.
- Drive operational readiness checklists and milestone tracking to ensure all launch. prerequisites are met before go-live. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve blockers and maintain launch timelines. - Build and maintain scalable SOPs, playbooks, and trackers to standardize the launch process across geographies.
About the team The team manages store launch operations for Amazon Fresh (supermarket format) and Amazon Now (quick commerce). We are responsible for end-to-end launch planning including service area design, technology onboarding, quality assurance testing, and operational migrations.
The team is scaling rapidly to support Amazon's grocery and quick commerce expansion across India. - Bachelor's degree
Job Details
Experience: with Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience: in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or quick commerce operations. - Familiarity with GIS tools, mapping systems, or spatial data. - Knowledge of SQL or basic scripting (Python) for data extraction/manipulation. - Demonstrated ability to create and improve operational processes.
