About the Role

• We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns with a keen interest in wastewater treatment, the circular economy, and environmental sustainability.
• The intern will support ongoing research and project activities through stakeholder engagement, data compilation and analysis, field visits, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Compile, organise, and synthesise inputs received from diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, utilities, researchers, and practitioners. - Support the planning and execution of site visits related to wastewater treatment and sanitation infrastructure. - Collect, clean, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from surveys, reports, and field assessments. - Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, case studies, and knowledge products. - Conduct literature reviews and secondary research on wastewater treatment, decentralised sanitation systems, and related policy frameworks. - Coordinate effectively with team members and contribute to collaborative project activities. - Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of deliverables. - Support stakeholder consultations, meetings, and workshops as required.

• Current student or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resources Management, Urban Planning, or related fields. - Focus: Demonstrated interest in water management, sanitation, and sustainability.

• Key Competencies - Data & Analysis: Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required (familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus).
• Ability to interpret and synthesize technical information. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong report writing and presentation abilities. - Execution: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. - Teamwork & Adaptability: A proactive, self-motivated team player who thrives in interdisciplinary environments and is willing to undertake field visits. - Professionalism: High integrity, accountability, and the ability to build synergy with diverse stakeholders.
