Supply Chain & Operation Internship

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement of raw and packaging materials.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
• Maintain procurement documentation and vendor records.
• Support vendor onboarding and performance tracking.
• Monitor inbound and outbound material movement.
• Assist in inventory planning and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate with warehouses and manufacturing teams for smooth material flow.
• Track inventory levels and report shortages or excess stock.
• Support daily operational planning and execution.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with logistics partners.
• Monitor dispatches and ensure timely deliveries.
• Track freight movements and logistics costs.
• Assist in resolving transportation-related issues.
• Maintain logistics performance reports and MIS.
• Prepare procurement, inventory, and logistics reports.
• Analyze procurement, transportation, and warehousing costs.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Maintain dashboards using Excel and prepare periodic business reports.
• Support management with data-driven insights.
• Observe and analyze existing operational processes.
• Identify bottlenecks in procurement, warehouse, and logistics operations.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, Commercial, and Operations teams.
• Assist in demand planning and production scheduling activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth supply chain execution.
• Participate in cross-functional review meetings.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Ensure procurement and logistics activities comply with internal processes.
• Support audit-related documentation whenever required.

Requirements

– Supply Chain & Operations Intern

• Pursuing or recently completed MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business Analytics, or Operations & Procurement.
• Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/B.E. in Industrial, Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or Automobile Engineering.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in Supply Chain & Operations are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Dashboards, Data Analysis).
• Good understanding of procurement and supply chain fundamentals.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management concepts.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel locally if required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
