About the Role

About the internship: Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Understanding and assisting with accounting methods, techniques, and documentation to ensure accurate financial records. 2. Familiarizing with applicable laws of the business unit, including compliance with income tax, GST, and company/LLP laws. 3.

Ensuring compliance with income tax, GST, and company/LLP laws, as applicable to the unit. 4. Assisting and supporting seniors in conducting internal and statutory audits under the Income Tax Act and Companies Act, including tax audits under the Income Tax Act and statutory audits under the Companies Act. 5.

Preparing accounts in Tally and financial statements in Excel/Word under the Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and ICAI guidance notes and standards on accounting. 6. Preparing and filing income tax returns for individuals, companies, limited liability partnership firms (LLP), partnership firms, trusts, etc. 7.

Preparing and filing company/LLP annual and other returns/forms on the MCA website.

Requirements

• Candidates currently pursuing CA, ICMA, ACCA or CS are preferred.
