About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct general radiographic examinations and selected specialised procedures, including mammography, ultrasound and/or bone mineral densitometry.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort and care throughout all imaging procedures.
  • Comply with ALARA principles, radiation safety regulations and infection control standards.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly diagnostic environment.
  • Support smooth daily operations of the diagnostic centre.
  • Provide professional, prompt and courteous service to patients and stakeholders.
  • Assist senior radiographers with quality control activities and departmental initiatives.
  • Support administrative and quality-related projects as assigned.
  • Work towards achieving Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) certification within one to two years, subject to qualifications.

  • Recognised degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Valid R1 licence with the Centre for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Sciences (NEA).
  • Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council.
  • Mammography and/or ultrasound experience is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of NGEMR, Epic and RISPACS systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Malay or Tamil is an added advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking, Malay-speaking or Tamil-speaking patients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Service‑oriented, compassionate and customer‑focused approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous medical education and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint basic programming knowledge is an added advantage.
