Retail Cashier

About the Role

Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail store team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a smooth checkout experience.

Job Details

Experience: Prior experience in a cashier, retail, or similar customer service role will be preferred. Freshers are welcome to apply. Training will be provided to suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payment transactions.
• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and store credits as per company policies.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and direct them to the appropriate store sections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Balance cash registers and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Support store operations, including stocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays when required.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service and cash handling.

Requirements

12th Pass - Any - Common Roles (All Sectors) - Age: 18-60 ## Skills - GST - Tally - Bank Reconciliation - Tally Erp 9 - Tally accounting ##

• Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or equivalent.
• Must be familiar with TALLY Prime / Tally Erp 9.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented.
